Johne Nascimento

Johne “Kamikaze” Nascimento began his jiu-jitsu journey in 2010, in his hometown of Aracaju, Brazil. From his very first training sessions, he showed great dedication and natural talent, quickly standing out in regional competitions. In 2011, he moved to São Paulo, where he trained with the Demian Maia team, sharpening his skills and competing at a high level until 2013. After returning to Aracaju, Johne continued to evolve, earning numerous titles in the colored belt divisions. In 2017, he returned to São Paulo to further his training, joining the prestigious Checkmat team under Professor Leon Amâncio, who promoted him to black belt in 2020. Throughout his career, Johne has achieved outstanding results in both national and international competitions, including: 12x State Champion 1x North-Northeast Champion 2x North-Northeast Runner-Up 2x Third Place – North-Northeast Championship 3rd Place – South American Championship 2x 3rd Place – Salvador Open His journey has included training and competition with some of the most respected teams in Brazilian jiu-jitsu: Blue Belt – Demian Maia Team Purple Belt – Zenith Team Brown & Black Belt – Checkmat São Paulo More than titles, Johne represents dedication, discipline, and passion for jiu-jitsu, inspiring new athletes to believe in the power of perseverance both on and off the mats.
